Please Bring Your Box Back

Hello CSA 2023!

We would like to start by welcoming our CSA members old and new for 2023! We are so excited to be underway, and couldn’t do it without all your help. Thank you all for your payments thus far – we are always so humbled by your support. We have taken on board your comments from last year on favourite varieties (and not so favourite!) and are working hard to deliver more of the staples as well as include some fun new varieties such as melons, chillis and sweetcorn. You’’ll also hopefully see more fresh herbs in the boxes throughout the year.

Lamb Chops with Green Garlic & Mint

  • 5ml cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • A couple of spring fresh mint leaves, chopped, plus more for sprinkling
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Sea salt
  • 2 lamb chops
  • 2/3 green garlic, Finley diced

  1. Mix the olive oil, mint, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste in a bowl. Rub the lamb chops all over with the chopped green garlic (green garlic can be used like your traditional cured garlic, it has a much subtler flavour, so works well in salads or lightly sautéed) . Transfer a few tablespoons of the mint oil to a small bowl and brush on the chops.
  2. Grill or pan-fry chops until charred, 3 to 4 minutes per side. (Press the middle of a chop with your finger: It should be slightly firm with a little give for medium-rare doneness.) Transfer to a platter and brush with some of the remaining mint oil. Sprinkle with left over mint.
